Undetectable AI Review 2026: Features, Pricing, Verdict

If you have searched for an AI humanizer at any point in the last three years, you have seen Undetectable AI. Their ads are everywhere. Their brand name is the category name. For a lot of people, "undetectable AI" and "the tool at undetectable.ai" have quietly become the same thing.

That kind of brand gravity earns a tool a fair hearing, not a free pass. So here is our look at what you get for your money in 2026: the humanizer, the detector, the long list of other tools, the pricing, and what the terms say about refunds and cancellation.

Full disclosure: we build SupWriter, which competes directly with Undetectable AI. We are not going to pretend that away. What we will do is stick to what you can check: the vendor's own pricing page, terms and help center (all opened in September 2026). We also explain how to test the output yourself, because we haven't run a controlled bypass test and won't quote a bypass rate we didn't measure (how we test).

Quick Verdict

Bottom line: Undetectable AI is a mature, well-funded product with one of the widest tool suites in the category, and its annual pricing is low per word. The trade-offs are a small free trial, narrow refund terms, and a cancellation process that runs through email. If you want one account that also writes, detects and types for you, it is the most complete option we know of. If the humanizer is the whole job, test it on your own text before you commit to a year.

What Is Undetectable AI?

Undetectable AI was one of the earliest purpose-built humanizers, and that early-mover advantage built a large user base. Its homepage now says it is "trusted by 24M+ users".

The original product was simple: paste AI text, get rewritten text back that reads less like a language model. That core humanizer is still the heart of the product, but the surrounding suite has grown a lot. As of September 2026 the homepage lists:

• AI Humanizer, the flagship rewriting engine
• AI Detector
• Writers: AI Essay Writer, AI Stealth Writer, AI SEO Content Writer and a Paraphrasing Tool
• Checks: AI Plagiarism Checker and an AI Text Watermark Remover
• Detectors for other media: AI image, voice and video detectors, deepfake detection, and fake PDF, receipt and ID detectors
• Human Typer, which replays your text into a document with keystroke-style timing
• AI Job Applier, a Chrome extension and an API

That is a lot of surface area, and not all of it will matter to you. The Human Typer deserves a plain word. It is aimed at revision-history checks in tools like Google Docs, where one enormous paste event stands out. If your instructor reviews how a document was written, replaying text as keystrokes still misrepresents how it was written. It doesn't change where you stand under your school's policy.

How the Humanizer Works

You paste text, choose your settings, and get a rewrite back. Because the detector sits in the same account, you can scan, humanize and rescan without leaving the site. That loop is the right design. Our own AI detector shows sentence highlights for the same reason: knowing which sentences to fix is more useful than one document-level number.

When you judge any humanizer's output, including this one, look past the first paragraph:

• Does it restructure, or only edit sentence by sentence? Sentence-level edits can leave the underlying shape of AI text intact. Across a 3,000-word document, evenly built paragraphs are something both readers and detectors notice.
• Did the meaning survive? Compare facts, figures and claims against your original.
• Did the register survive? Academic writing needs to stay academic. A casual rewrite of a methods section is its own problem.

Long documents are easier to check in sections. That also keeps you inside per-request limits on most tools.

Detection Bypass: What We Can and Can't Tell You

This is the number people come for, and it's the one we won't give you. We haven't run Undetectable AI (or our own tool) through live Turnitin, GPTZero or Originality.ai accounts under controlled conditions. Any bypass percentage we printed would be a guess dressed up as a result.

What we can tell you is what the vendor commits to. The pricing page advertises a "money-back guarantee if output flagged is not human". The terms of service (last updated 1 January 2025) are narrower. They say "Refunds will not be provided unless required by law", that a refund of credits "is only available if a submission provably flags as less than 75% human on a reputable AI detector", and that requests must be made within 30 days. So keep screenshots of any flagged result.

And here is how to test it yourself, which will tell you more than any vendor chart:

1. Take three or four drafts you would really submit, not a demo paragraph.
2. Run each original through the detector you will actually face, if you can access it.
3. Humanize with the settings you would really use, once per draft.
4. Re-check on the same detector and save timestamped screenshots.
5. Count failures honestly, including any re-runs you had to pay for.

Two Turnitin facts matter here. Its AI writing FAQ says it looks for AI text "modified by a word spinner/AI paraphrasing or bypassing tool" in English submissions. It also says the score "should not be used as the sole basis for action". Short texts behave differently too: Turnitin needs at least 300 words of prose to produce a report at all.

The Free Trial Ceiling

The free trial gives you 250 words, according to the pricing page. The homepage says you can "start for free and try the core tools without paying".

Where It Struggles

Citations. Any humanizer can move, merge or drop citation markers and alter figures. We didn't measure Undetectable AI's citation handling. Whatever tool you use, check every in-text citation and your reference list after humanizing.

Academic register. A humanizer that makes text sound more casual can make an academic paper worse. Test it on a paragraph from your own discipline before you trust it with a whole paper.

Non-English content. Undetectable AI says it supports 50+ languages, and adds that English offers the highest accuracy. That's the vendor's own caveat, and detector coverage is narrow outside English as well. Turnitin's AI detection covers only English, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic. Credits and cancellation. The help center says to cancel by emailing contact@undetectable.ai with your account email, full name, the last four digits of your card and your subscription details. It also says that "any remaining credits associated with your premium plan will expire" when you cancel. A pause option is offered instead. The pricing page lists "non-expiring credits" only on the Business plan. Size your plan to your real usage, not your optimistic usage.

Undetectable AI Pricing in 2026

Here is what the pricing page showed in September 2026:

Business plans are quoted individually, with non-expiring credits, redistribution and white labeling. The listed tiers include the humanizer, the AI detector with unlimited detection, the Human Auto Typer and API compatibility, so features aren't heavily gated by tier.

The pricing story is really two stories. Annual is a strong deal. At $5 a month for 10,000 words, that's $0.50 per 1,000 words, a low rate for the category. Monthly is mid-market. At $9.99 for 10,000 words, you pay about $1.00 per 1,000 words.

For comparison, SupWriter's list prices are $9.99 a month for 5,000 words on Basic ($2.00 per 1,000) and $4.99 a month on annual Basic ($1.00 per 1,000). So Undetectable AI is cheaper per word than our entry plan, monthly or annual. Our Pro and Ultra plans on annual billing come to $0.67 per 1,000. So the honest read: if you're confident enough to commit for a year, the annual pricing is competitive, especially given the size of the tool suite. Month to month, it's a fair price rather than a bargain.

• Refunds are limited to credits, on a provable-flag condition, within 30 days
• Cancellation runs through email, and remaining credits expire when you cancel
• Non-English accuracy is weaker than English by the vendor's own account
• Human Typer targets revision-history checks, which makes it a policy risk rather than a feature for coursework

Who It's For

Good fit: Content marketers and SEO teams who want humanizing, drafting and detection in one subscription. Freelancers with steady, mostly-English workloads. Anyone who values a mature, well-supported product and will commit to annual billing.

Poor fit: Students who want to test properly before paying, given the 250-word trial. Anyone writing primarily in a language other than English. People who want to cancel with a click rather than an email. Anyone whose course bans AI assistance: no humanizer fixes a policy problem.

Alternatives Worth Considering

Final Verdict

Undetectable AI is a good product that has been the default answer for so long that people have stopped asking whether it is the best one for them.

The engineering is mature, the feature suite is unmatched, and on annual billing it is well priced. But read the terms before you buy. The refund promise on the pricing page is narrower in the terms, cancellation is by email, and remaining credits expire when you cancel.

If you want one of the most complete AI writing toolkits with a humanizer attached, the annual plan is good value. If humanization is the whole job, and especially if it's coursework going through Turnitin, run your own test on real drafts first. Remember that no tool can guarantee how a detector will score your text.
