1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to SupWriter. By accessing or using our AI humanizer platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use our services.

These services are provided "as is" and you assume all risks associated with the use of our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by applicable law in your country, to use SupWriter. Our services are not intended for children below this minimum age.

If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use our services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these age requirements and have that permission where required.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Intellectual Property

SupWriter retains ownership of all content, databases, software, and trademarks associated with the platform. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any of our content without our prior written consent.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use automated methods (bots, scrapers) to access the platform
• Engage in data scraping or unauthorized data collection
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent your identity
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

Academic and workplace rules. You are responsible for how you use what SupWriter produces. Do not use SupWriter to break the rules of any school, university, employer, publisher, exam body or platform, including rules on originality, plagiarism, academic misconduct or disclosing AI assistance. Checking and following those rules, and any consequences of submitting text produced with SupWriter, are your responsibility. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of this section.

6. Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds

6.1 Merchant of record. Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments (“Dodo”), our merchant of record. Dodo's Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction, and these Terms apply to your use of SupWriter. Where the two differ on refunds, the terms more favourable to you apply.

6.2 Automatic renewal. Paid plans are subscriptions. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose), and your saved payment method is charged the price of your plan at that time. The price, billing frequency and renewal terms are shown before you subscribe. You authorise us, through Dodo, to store your payment method and to charge it for each renewal until you cancel.

6.3 Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription, with instructions on how to cancel. A price increase takes effect only at a renewal after that notice, and you may cancel before then at no cost.

6.4 Words and top-ups. Plan words are provided for each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up words are added when you buy them and do not expire while your account is open. Words are used when you run a request, whether or not you are happy with the result.

6.5 Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancelling stops all future charges straight away, and you keep access and your remaining plan words until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also cancel by emailing support@supwriter.com from your account email; we process email cancellations within 24 hours. We will never require you to call us to cancel.

6.6 Refunds. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: first subscription payments are refundable within 7 days if you have used less than 20% of a month's words; renewals you didn't mean to keep are refundable within 7 days under the same usage limit; unused top-ups are refundable within 7 days; and duplicate or mistaken charges reported within 7 days are refunded in full. Your statutory rights, including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal and the consumer guarantees under Australian law, are not affected.

6.7 Billing problems and chargebacks. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact support@supwriter.com before contacting your bank. We reply within 24 hours and refund any charge made in error. If you dispute a charge you authorised with your bank or card issuer, or dispute a charge we have already refunded, we may suspend your account while the dispute is reviewed and share evidence of your purchase, consent and usage with the payment network. If the dispute is decided in our favour or you withdraw it, we will restore your account. Nothing in this section limits your right to dispute a charge you did not authorise.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All user data is stored securely using encrypted databases and secure cloud infrastructure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security as no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that SupWriter will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems or need to perform maintenance, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors.

We reserve the right to change, revise, update, suspend, discontinue, or otherwise modify the service at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

SupWriter disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

We accept no responsibility for service interruptions, data loss, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

No guarantee about third-party AI detectors. SupWriter rewrites text to read more naturally. AI detection tools (such as Turnitin, GPTZero, Originality.ai and others) are run by third parties, use undisclosed methods that change over time, and sometimes give inconsistent or wrong results, including flagging text written entirely by people. We do not guarantee that text produced with SupWriter will receive any particular score from, or will not be flagged by, any detector. Scores shown inside SupWriter are estimates provided for information only.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be subject to 30 days of informal negotiation between the parties.

If informal negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may not create new accounts after termination without our express permission.

12. Marketing Communications

By using SupWriter, you consent to receive marketing communications from us unless you unsubscribe. Essential service emails related to your account cannot be unsubscribed from.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
