About SupWriter
Who we are
SupWriter is a writing tool built and run by its founder, Shriprasanna. It is used by 9,000+ writers, most of them students and people who write in English as a second language.
What SupWriter does
- The AI humanizer rewrites an AI-assisted draft so it reads naturally and keeps your meaning. You choose the language, tone and purpose.
- The AI detector gives one AI score with sentence highlights. The twelve detector names it shows are labels mapped from that one score, not calls to those vendors. How the score works.
- A paraphraser and a grammar checker.
- The editor offers 50+ languages. Output quality varies a lot by language: our own tests found some languages rewrite well and others do not, which our language pages describe.
- Ways to use it outside the website: a Chrome extension, an iOS app, an API, an MCP server for AI assistants, and a command-line tool.
New accounts get 300 free words, with no card needed. Paid plan prices and limits are on the pricing page.
What SupWriter doesn't do
No tool can guarantee how any AI detector will score a piece of writing, and SupWriter doesn't promise one. Our detector is a pre-check, not the detector your school or client uses. It is also unreliable for some languages: in our own check it scored human-written Malay text as AI.

Editorial policy
Posts cite primary sources and carry their true publish and update dates. Vendor claims are labelled as the vendor's claims. If you find an error, write to us via contact and we will correct it.
