# SupWriter AI Humanizer

The core SupWriter feature. It rewrites AI-assisted drafts so they read naturally in the writer's own voice, including for non-native (ESL) writers, while preserving meaning. SupWriter includes an AI detector so you can check a draft before you submit. It is a pre-check based on one scoring model, not the detector your school or client uses. ## What it does

- Takes an AI-assisted draft and returns a rewrite in the writer's own voice.
- Preserves the original meaning, factual claims, and structure.
- Configurable tone and purpose.
- Pair it with the AI detector to check a draft before you submit and to look for unfair AI-detection false positives.

## Tones

- **General** — neutral, conversational.
- **Casual** — informal, friendly.
- **Formal** — business and report writing.
- **Academic** — essays, papers, dissertations.
- **Persuasive** — sales copy, op-eds, pitches.

## Purposes

- General, essay, blog, email, social.

## Word limits

- **Free** — 300 lifetime credits, 500 words per request.
- **Basic** — $9.99/mo monthly or $4.99/mo billed annually. 5,000 words/month, 500 words per request.
- **Pro** — $19.99/mo monthly or $9.99/mo billed annually. 15,000 words/month, 2,000 words per request.
- **Ultra** — $39.99/mo monthly or $19.99/mo billed annually. 30,000 words/month, 5,000 words per request.

SupWriter supports 50+ languages. Every supported language is available on Free, Basic, Pro, and Ultra. Annual plans grant 12× the monthly word amount upfront.

## How to use

1. Open [supwriter.com/ai-humanizer](https://supwriter.com/ai-humanizer) or call the API.
2. Paste your draft. Pick tone and purpose.
3. Submit. The rewrite appears within seconds for typical-length text.
4. Optionally check it with the [AI detector](https://supwriter.com/ai-detector.md) before you submit.

- Endpoint: `POST /api/humanize`

- Auth: Supabase-issued JWT as `Authorization: Bearer <token>`, or an API key on Pro and Ultra for `/api/v1/humanize`.
- Credits: 1 credit per input word.
- Developer API keys: 60 requests/minute on Pro and 120 requests/minute on Ultra.
